Two gold medals and two silver medals for Felix Solis wines in the 28th Competition of DO La Mancha

2/3/2015
Felix Solis wines under the appellation DO La Mancha were recently awarded at the 28th Competition of DO La Mancha. Viña San Juan rosé got a gold medal in the category of rosé wines and Caliza got a silver medal. In the category of red wines (coupages), Viña San Juan got gold medal and Caliza got a silver medal respectively. This proves the good expectations for 2014 vintage in La Mancha. Viña San Juan Rosé Tempranillo is the result of a careful vinification of tempranillo grapes, typical from the region, extracting its maximum expressivity. A wine that pairs with the great and diverse cuisine in Spain. The wine has undertaken the traditional rosé wine- making process but with the most modern technologies and the most strict controls in all stages: stabilizing, storage, bottling, resulting in a very characteristic colour. Delicate and fresh as a white wine and well-structured as a red wine. Light, clean, fresh and fruity wine. It has the original aromas of fresh fruit and a distinctive strawberry aromas. Viña San Juan Red is a special blend of three grape varieties. A coupage that aims to enhance the potential of each grape, extracting its maximum expressivity. Three different grapes to please three senses: sight, smell and taste. We would like that you enjoy this wine, which perfectly pairs with the immense range of Spanish cuisine. The wine- making process is very careful, paying a great attention to grape ripening, fermentation and temperature- control, in order to preserve the original aromas and flavours, perfectly harmonious with secondary aromas.
