Félix Solís Avantis embarks on Chilean venture: New winery to bolster international presence

Félix Solís Avantis, a leading name in the winemaking industry, reaffirms its commitment to global expansion with the finalization of its maiden winery in Chile. Marking its first venture beyond Spanish borders, this strategic move underscores the group's dedication to catering to international markets, which currently account for 65% of its revenue. Set to commence operations during the 2024 harvest, the new facility represents a €45 million investment and promises to be a cornerstone in the company's growth trajectory.
Spanning an impressive 136,000 square meters, the ambitious project will house a state-of-the-art winery, boasting cutting-edge technology from grape reception to bottling. The selection of the winery’s location involved meticulous research into Chile’s diverse wine territories.
Ultimately, Félix Solís Avantis identified the Cachapoal Valley in the Central Zone, situated 100 kilometres south of Santiago de Chile, as the ideal site. Renowned for its varied soils and abundant grape varieties, including chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, merlot, cabernet sauvignon, and carmenere, the region promises optimal conditions for vinification.
With a projected production capacity of 30 million litres, the facility is poised to make its mark with its inaugural vintage in 2024.
