Félix Solís Avantis reinforces its green logistics strategy after receiving the CHEP Sustainability Certificate. This recognition endorses the results obtained through the pallet pooling system, a circular economy model that has enabled the company to drastically reduce its environmental impact in recent months.
Environmental milestones achieved
The strategic collaboration between the two entities has generated tangible benefits for the natural environment:
- Resources: Savings of 261,753 dm³ of wood, avoiding the felling of 253 trees.
- Atmosphere: Reduction of 552,995 kg of CO2 emissions, equivalent to the footprint of 14 truck journeys around the world.
- Waste: Reduction of 30,098 kg of waste, which means avoiding more than 7 rubbish trucks.
Commitment to efficiency
For Félix Solís Avantis, this certificate is proof that operational optimisation and environmental protection are shared objectives. By opting for reusable packaging and supports, the winery guarantees a cleaner and more efficient supply chain.
‘This certification underlines our firm commitment to promoting a sustainable operating model. We are grateful to CHEP for its valuable collaboration in this initiative,’ the company said.
