Félix Solís Avantis named Best Spanish Winery by AWC Vienna

Félix Solís Avantis, a leading name in the Spanish and international wine sectors, has once again secured the prestigious ‘Best Spanish Winery 2025’ title at the AWC Vienna – International Wine Challenge. This competition remains the largest officially recognised wine show in the world in terms of the number of samples evaluated.
Securing this award for the second year running is a significant milestone for the Group. Félix Solís Ramos, Commercial and Marketing Director, remarked: "This is a double source of pride for us. It provides further motivation to continue our mission of bringing Spanish wines to tables across the globe, backed by our winery’s unwavering commitment to the highest quality."
A Year of Remarkable Success
So far in 2025, Félix Solís Avantis has amassed 318 medals in national and international competitions, including 146 gold medals. The company also enjoyed a standout performance at Mundus Vini 2025, picking up several ‘Best of Show’ titles, including:
- Best of Show Galicia: Pulpo Godello 2024
- Best of Show Valdepeñas: Viña Albali Gran Reserva 2018
- Best of Show Ribera del Duero: Condado de Oriza Gran Reserva 2016
These results highlight the diversity and excellence of the Group’s portfolio, which features established brands recognised in over 135 countries.
International Growth and Critical Acclaim
The Group’s international ventures have also seen rapid success, particularly in Chile. Its Viña Casa Solís winery has established itself as a quality benchmark in Latin America in record time.
This year, the La Piqueta range received glowing reviews from the influential British Master of Wine, Tim Atkin, most notably awarding 91 points to La Piqueta Carmenère – Gran Reserva 2023.
