In 2025, 99 per cent of the energy consumed by F\u00e9lix Sol\u00eds came from renewable sources, a figure that reflects the energy transition the company is undertaking as it moves towards a more efficient production model with a lower environmental impact. The strategy combines a certified renewable electricity supply for the entire Group with the generation of its own energy through photovoltaic installations.<\/p>\n
\nOne of the key projects in this transformation is in Valdepe\u00f1as, where F\u00e9lix Sol\u00eds operates a solar farm to supply the winery’s own consumption. The installation covers an area equivalent to seven football pitches and currently generates 24 per cent of the electricity consumed by the winery.<\/p>\n
However, the company’s energy transition is not limited to replacing conventional sources with renewables. Reducing the amount of energy required for production is an equally essential part of this process. Since 2022, F\u00e9lix Sol\u00eds has reduced the electricity required to produce each litre of product by 6 per cent, thanks to the gradual introduction of efficiency measures across its processes and facilities.<\/p>\n
This combination of renewable energy, on-site generation and reduced consumption also has a direct impact on the company’s carbon footprint.
