Consigna Semi-sweet is made from the Spanish native variety Airen. Originally from La Mancha, this variety is characterised by its resistance to disease and to dry weather conditions.
Like France’s Vins de Pays, Vino de la Tierra de Castilla is a Spanish geographic indicator for wines from the autonomous region of Castilla-La Mancha. This is a region at an altitude of 700m covered with limestone and argillaceous soils that endure scarce rain falls.
This wine is of a pale lemon colour. Floral and fresh herbs aromas. Lively and light on the palate with good acidity and subtle fruit and floral flavours. Easy to drink thanks to the balance between its sweetness and acidity with an extremely refined finish.
The perfect accompaniment to Asian or spicy dishes. Also recommended to go with desserts.
Between 7- 9ºC
The best grapes are selected to produce a sweeter wine. Modern wine making techniques are employed to produce a delicate wine whose fermentation is stopped by cooling at the optimum moment.
